The 49-year-old specialist shared his thoughts on his team's defeat to "Shahdag Gusar" in the first game of the season: "We couldn't take advantage of goal-scoring opportunities in the first half. We were disappointed as soon as the second half started, and we managed to score an equalizing goal. In the last minutes, the opponent caught us on a counterattack and won by scoring a goal. We were trying to play dominant football. In that case, of course, we will concede goals in counterattacks. I am satisfied with the team's game and the players' performance. We had control of the ball as we wanted. We mainly built our attacks from the center or from the flanks. It's just frustrating that we couldn't capitalize on goal-scoring opportunities. The game of the new transfers also satisfied me. The course of the championship will show how tense it will be. I believe it will be an interesting season. Everything will be in accordance with sports principles. I wish all teams success."
