The XV round of the First League that has ended was remarkable with a jubilee goal. Sport24.az reports that Ilham Allahverdiyev, a football player of "Baku Sporting", scored his 80th goal in the First League (former First Division).
He opened the score in the 22nd minute of the away match against "Jabrayil" (2:1). The 33-year-old striker scored his 80th goal in his 203rd match.
Ilham made his debut in the First League in the 2012/13 season as part of "Garadag Lokbatan". He scored his first goal in the next season for the same team.
The forward distinguished himself more often - 30 times - in the capital's team. Ilham scored 9 goals for "Shamkir", 24 for MOIK, 9 for "Difai", and 8 for "Baku Sporting".
It should be noted that only one football player has scored more goals in the First League in the period from the 2013/14 season, when Allahverdiyev scored his first goal, until now. Bahruz Teymurov scored 94 goals during this period.
