Before the match, the dear memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our lands was commemorated with a minute of silence. The match, held at the Gabala city stadium, ended with a 1:0 victory for our national team. Nihat Huseynzade scored the goal in the 29th minute.
It should be noted that our national team will play its next group match against the Kyrgyzstan team on October 1.
