This will also be the first match in the main stage (former group stage) of the continent's number one club tournament for the 40-year-old representative of justice.
Pajac, who has received international appointments since 2018, has so far been in charge of main and qualifying matches in the Europa League, and qualifying matches in the Champions League. In addition to Croatia, he has also officiated matches in the Saudi Arabian, Greek, and Cypriot championships.
It should be noted that the "Athletic" - "Qarabag" match will start on October 22 at 20:45 Baku time.
