"We knew it would be a difficult game." These words were spoken to Sport24.az by "Sabah" player Igor Nogueira.
The Brazilian defender shared his thoughts on the match in the XIV round of the Misli Premier League, in which they defeated "Neftchi" with two unanswered goals:
"Defeating a strong opponent like "Neftchi" is a great advantage. Such victories give us great motivation for the upcoming games. As a team, we prepared well for this game. We saw the benefits of this on the field. But this match is already behind us. Other important games await us."
The player also touched on the match against "Turan Tovuz" in the XV round and "Qarabag", postponed from the I round:
"Now our main task is to maintain this pace. Our next games are also very difficult. But all games in the championship are difficult. We will go out to every game to win. We will do our best to win in the upcoming games as well."
