"I can't express my feelings about this achievement in words". Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Igor Nogueira, the Brazilian football player of "Sabah".
The defender, who gave an interview to his country's "Esportefantastico" publication, shared his thoughts on winning the Azerbaijan Cup:
"When I received an invitation from "Sabah", I was aware of the club's ambitions, organization and the goals of the people working there every day. The title we won is the culmination of all of this. We worked very hard to achieve this. We focused all our attention on the game with "Qarabag". We knew that it would be a difficult match against an opponent who has been a champion in the country many times. At the same time, we believed that we would achieve our goal. "Sabah" is a club that is eight years old. It is a matter of pride to be a part of this historic moment."
It should be noted that "Sabah" defeated "Qarabag" 3:2 in extra time of the final match.
