"Our preparation for the new season continues at the highest level. We are completely satisfied with the performance of the players in training, and their preparation for the new season."
These words were said by Ibrahim Uzunca, the head coach of "Khankendi", in an interview with Sport24.az.
He also spoke about pre-season preparation plans:
"Our goal in the new season is to win the championship. We need to work hard to become champions. We must put a lot of effort into taking "Khankendi" to the place it deserves. God willing, we will reach this goal as a team. We trust the players. There are players from last season and new players we have transferred in the squad. We don't have any problems. We are thinking of getting into the First League next season, and then into the Premier League. We want to make the name of "Khankendi" heard in Europe. We have played 4 friendly matches. Our opponents were teams from the First League. This gave us a great experience. We have formed a good team with new and old players. We will see the benefits of this next season."
It should be noted that "Khankendi" won the Region League last season and gained the right to participate in the Second League.
