Hristo Stoichkov does not share the players' dissatisfaction with the overloaded schedule.
Idman.biz reports that according to the former striker of the Bulgarian national team and "Barcelona", players should not complain about the large number of matches.
Stoichkov, the owner of the 1994 Ballon d'Or, says that football players do not complain because they earn 20 million euros a year: "Previously, domestic competitions such as the Spanish, English Cup and English League had meaning. By winning these tournaments, it was possible to qualify for European cups. But now six teams from Spain qualify for the Champions League. The same applies to England and Italy. In this case, it is not clear to me what they are complaining about."
