By reaching the play-off stage of the Champions League in the 2025/26 season, Aghdam's "Qarabag" club has secured a minimum reward of 30.745 million euros (62.68 million manats).
According to Idman.Biz, the club earned most of its revenue by participating in the main stage of the Champions League.
The fixed payment for reaching the league stage was 18.62 million euros (37.96 million manats). In addition, "Qarabag" earned 7 million euros (14.27 million manats) based on match results: three wins brought 6.3 million euros (12.84 million manats), and one draw added 0.7 million euros (1.43 million manats).
Another significant part of the revenue depends on the position in the final table of the league stage. The Aghdam club, which finished in 22nd place, received a minimum bonus of 4.125 million euros (8.41 million manats) for its position. Separately, UEFA paid 1 million euros (2.04 million manats) for reaching the play-off stage, where teams compete for reaching the 1/8 finals.
Thus, "Qarabag"'s total guaranteed revenue to date is 30.745 million euros (62.68 million manats), which is a record figure for the Aghdam club. This figure may increase after the final calculation of UEFA's market share and if the team advances in the tournament bracket. In particular, reaching the 1/8 finals of the Champions League will bring the club an additional 11 million euros (22.42 million manats).
It should be noted that "Qarabag" will face either France's PSG or England's "Newcastle" in the play-offs. The draw ceremony will take place on January 30th. The ceremony will begin at 15:00 Baku time.
