Norwegian striker Erling Haaland praised the talent of his teammate, Manchester City's Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov.
Idman.Biz reports that the Norwegian striker spoke about this in an interview with Sky Sports.
"Khusa is just fantastic for us! It wasn't easy: moving to a new country, not knowing the language. It's difficult. Moreover, there was pressure because he is the first Uzbek football player to play in the English Premier League," said Erling Haaland.
Abdukodir Khusanov joined the "Citizens" in January 2025.
This season, the defender has participated in 31 matches in all tournaments and has not been remembered for productive performance.
The football player's contract with the club is valid until the summer of 2029. According to the Transfermarkt portal, his market value is 35 million euros.
