Thierry Henry has revealed his interesting thoughts on the greatest footballers in history.
According to Lent.az, referring to foreign media, when asked to name the five best footballers of all time, neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Lionel Messi made his list.
Instead, he chose players who shaped football long before today's superstars arrived. These are Diego Maradona, Pele, Johan Cruyff, Franz Beckenbauer and Michael Laudrup.
"Michael Laudrup was a beast. He was the ultimate number 10 - and by that I mean the player who makes the team play. Players who play in the number 10 position only think about scoring goals.
Laudrup... God, the passes he made. He would break two lines of defense and the ball would slow down when it met the striker".
