The match for third place at the Arab Nations Cup was remembered for its unusual ending.

In the bronze medal match, the teams were only able to play the first half. The intense rain that started after the break made the field unusable, and the referees decided not to continue the match. FIFA later officially announced that both teams were awarded third place.
It should be noted that the Moroccan national team became the winner of the tournament. Morocco won the gold medals of the Arab Nations Cup, defeating the Jordanian team 3:2 in the final match.
