The Turkish football community is shaken by the sad news of a young death. 21-year-old Baran Alp Vardar, a football player for First League representative "İstanbulspor", has passed away due to a relentless illness he had been receiving treatment for a long time.
İdman.Biz reports that the club's official statement said that the young player had been receiving cancer treatment for some time, but died despite all the efforts of doctors. Although the club did not provide detailed information about the type of cancer the athlete was suffering from, it was noted that he had been fighting this disease for a long time.
The club's official statement reads:
