Head coach of U-19 women's national team called the Tashkent training camp a valuable experience for players

Idman.Biz reports that these words were said by Habib Agayev, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team consisting of female football players under 19, in his statement to the AFFA press service about the training camp organized in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

He stated that he was satisfied with the team's preparation:

"The training camp was very useful for our team. We played two games against Uzbekistan's U-20 team, which is older than us, and these matches gave our players important international experience. Overall, I am satisfied with both the team's attitude to the game and the performance they showed during the training camp. This preparation was a valuable experience in terms of development for many players".

The head coach of U-19 also evaluated the test matches (3:2, 0:4) against the Uzbekistan national team: "In the first game, the team showed character and discipline. Even though the opponent equalized and we were outnumbered, the girls managed to recover and win. This is an indicator of team spirit and the right game approach. In the second meeting, fatigue and limited rotation possibilities had their effect, resulting in a defeat. However, such matches are an important part of the preparation process and show the points we need to work on in the future".
