Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick has shared his thoughts on striker Lamin Yamal scoring the only goal in the Spanish Championship's 27th round match against Athletic Bilbao (0:1). Sport24.az reports that the German specialist made a statement to AS:
"I don't think Lamin played his best game today, but he decided the outcome of the match... When there is an empty zone, he is able to create goal opportunities. And he creates combinations that can lead to victory."
It should be noted that Yamal has appeared in 36 matches in all competitions this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 15 assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2031.
