He personally made the official announcement, leaving "Liverpool"

Trent Alexander-Arnold has announced that he will leave "Liverpool" at the end of the 2024/25 season.

GOL.az reports that the footballer announced this in a statement posted on his X social media account.

"After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, the time has come to confirm that I will be leaving the club at the end of the season. This is the most difficult decision I have ever made in my life," he said.

The 26-year-old British footballer's contract with the club expires on June 30, 2025. He started playing for "Liverpool" as a youth player in 2004 and signed a professional contract with the club in 2016.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has made 352 appearances for "Liverpool", scoring 23 goals and providing 92 assists.

Earlier, journalist David Ornstein reported that the footballer would sign a contract with "Real" this week.
