"Hayduk", a Croatian team set to face "Zira" in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, has sent condolences regarding the tragic death of Farid Shahverdiyev, a member of the capital's academy.
"Report" informs that this was announced at a press conference held before the match between the teams that will face each other tomorrow.
The head of the Split representative's press service said that the club was saddened by this news.
It should be noted that Farid Shahverdiyev, a football player of "Zira"'s U-16 team, drowned on the beach a few days ago.
