Liverpool and England U21 midfielder Harvey Elliott has shared his thoughts on his future career.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, he admitted that he does not want to sit among the reserves.
"Honestly, I don't want to waste time in my career. This is a situation I constantly have to think about. I have to understand how I do everything and how I can improve myself as a player. I just want to improve myself and be in the best shape. I love the club, the fans and the team, but as I said, it's important to understand what's important for me and my career."
With the arrival of Arne Slot, Elliott has lost his place in the rotation and has played just under 400 minutes in the 2024/25 Premier League season, a situation that could worsen with the potential arrival of Florian Wirtz.
A number of Premier League clubs, including Wolverhampton, are interested in the services of the 22-year-old English footballer.
