Bayern Munich and England national team striker Harry Kane spoke about the World Cup prospects of the national team he plays for. Sport24.az reports that the forward made a statement on the official website of the Bundesliga:
"We are now at a point where only victory can satisfy our country. We felt the same way at the last European Championship. Even though we reached the final, there was still a lot of negativity around us. We knew that if we didn't win, that negativity would continue, and that's what happened.
We are currently fourth in the world rankings and are considered one of the favorites. Therefore, we must take this into account in the tournament and withstand the pressure. We have had many good moments with the national team in the last eight years, but in the end, the most important thing now is to win.
I look forward to the new challenge. I am interested to see how the team and I will manage this".
