Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has been named the Bundesliga Player of the Month for December.

In addition to Harry Kane, other nominees for the award were Michael Olise, Josip Stanisic (both from Bayern Munich), Patrick Wimmer (Wolfsburg), Jan Diomandé, and Christoph Baumgartner (both from RB Leipzig).
The award process consists of two stages: first, the players' performance during this period is taken into account, then fans and experts vote.
The striker scored five goals in three German league games in December, firing 18 shots on goal.
This season, Kane has played 25 games in all competitions for the club, scoring 30 goals and providing three assists.
