Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has achieved a historic milestone in the UEFA Champions League.
According to "Report", the 32-year-old forward achieved this by scoring a brace in the second leg of the tournament's 1/8 final stage against Atalanta (4:1, aggregate score – 10:2).
Kane, who accurately converted a penalty in the first half of the match, scored his second goal after the break, and his 50th overall in the tournament. With this, he made history as the first English footballer to reach the 50-goal mark in the continent's number one club tournament.
Since joining the Munich team from Tottenham in 2023, the experienced striker has scored 28 times in 34 Champions League appearances for Bayern. Having recently recovered from a calf muscle injury, Kane has managed to score in each of the last 4 games (7 goals in total) of the Champions League 1/8 final stage.
It should be noted that Harry Kane has recorded 47 goals and 5 assists in 39 official matches for Bayern in the 2025/2026 season. The striker is also the first English footballer to surpass the 50-goal mark in tournaments held under the auspices of UEFA.
