The salary of Gheorghe Hagi, who replaced Mircea Lucescu, who left his post as head coach of the Romanian national football team, has been announced.
Idman.Biz reports that the 61-year-old specialist will earn 27,000 euros (54,000 AZN) per month in his new position. According to Romanian media, Hagi will receive exactly the same salary as his predecessor under the contract with the national team.
It should be reminded that 80-year-old Lucescu was hospitalized before training due to his deteriorating condition, and later his contract with the team was terminated. Hagi's first game in charge of the national team will be a friendly match against the Georgian national team in Tbilisi on June 2.
