Habib Agayev: The training camp in Moldova was beneficial in terms of adapting new players to the team

The training camp of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of women under 19 in Moldova was successful.

This was stated by the head coach of the team Habib Agayev in his statement to "Report".

He spoke about the test matches they played with the local team in Moldova:

"Both games were very useful for us. The main goal was not the result, but to see how new players adapt to our tactics. We watched the attitude of the girls who newly joined our team to the game. We saw that some of them quickly adapted to the tactics, while others still needed time. In this regard, the training camp was very important for us, because we got to know our new players closely and determined who could join the team faster."

The expert said that the training camp was successful:

"The training camp was generally successful. The planned trainings were held at a high level. The team prepared well physically and tactically, and unity in the team was further strengthened. The most important thing for us was the adaptation of new players to the team. This training camp was very useful in terms of seeing how they react to new tactics in training."

H. Agayev admitted that there are certain shortcomings in the national team:

"Of course, there are points that we need to work on. The last passes and decision-making in attack, as well as maintaining attention until the end of the game in defense, will be our main directions. This training camp allowed us to see those shortcomings."

It should be noted that our U-19 national team won both test matches against the Moldova national team with a score of 2:0.
