Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has replicated a unique record belonging to English football legend Alan Shearer.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to Opta that the Norwegian forward is only the second player to score 15 or more goals in a season before the switch to winter time in Britain.
This season, Haaland has already scored 15 times in 11 games. Of these, 11 fall on 8 Premier League matches, and 4 on 3 Champions League meetings.
It should be noted that in the 2022/23 season, he scored 22 goals before the clocks went back. Alan Shearer achieved this feat in the 1992/93 and 1995/96 seasons, reaching the 15-goal mark by the end of October both times.
