The press service of "Bavaria" shared on its social media page the answer of "Manchester City" striker Erling Haaland to the question about the first thing that comes to mind when he hears the name of Manuel Neuer.
İdman.Biz reports that Neuer is celebrating his 40th birthday on Friday, March 27.
"He's a wall that hurt me a lot and often saved many of my shots when we played each other. He's definitely one of the best goalkeepers to ever play the game!" Haaland wrote.
Neuer has been playing for the Munich club since 2011. During this time, the goalkeeper has played 590 matches in all competitions, conceded 486 goals and kept his goal dry 275 times. In Germany, Haaland played for Borussia Dortmund from 2020 to 2022.
