Gurban Gurbanov: "We must be careful in the game in Baku as well"

Today, "Qarabagh" visited "Shelbourne" in Ireland as part of the second qualifying round of the Champions League. The representative of Aghdam managed to leave the match with a score of 3:0. Sport24.az reports that Gurban Gurbanov, the head coach of "Qarabagh", who answered journalists' questions at the press conference held after the game, said the following: 

- I congratulate my players. It was a very important victory. I said yesterday that the opponent can create tension for us at any moment on this field. We witnessed it today. Despite winning with a score of 3:0, we must forget this and prepare more seriously for the return match. A small number of our fans did not leave us alone here. I express my gratitude to them.

- Do you consider the fate of the pair to be decided?

- Absolutely not. I said yesterday that the opponent is a team that knows what it is doing. Therefore, we must be careful in the game in Baku as well. Our defenders did not give the opponent's strikers much chance to play in this match. It was our first game. I believe we will be better. 

- Looking at today's result, can we say that you learned a lesson from the match with "Dundalk" years ago?

- Football changes every day. If we look back, we may lose in the future. Both in this game and in the match with "Dundalk", the team had tense moments. This is normal. I think every such game is an additional experience for us.
