Gurban Gurbanov, the head coach of "Qarabag," which is in training camp in Austria, has given an interview to the club's website. Sport24.az reports that he shared his thoughts on the test match held today against the Ukrainian club "Metallist 1925" (4:5):
"It was a very good game. Both teams played with two squads. Our players are still far from optimal form. The opponent's preparation seemed better. They forced us to play faster. It was a dynamic struggle. This was their third game. I saw both good and missing aspects in our team. The good thing was that despite conceding 5 goals, the players did not give up the fight until the end. We will now prepare for the upcoming matches. We have shortcomings in playmaking. We will try to fix it. Overall, I was satisfied with my team."
The head coach also shared his thoughts on the past period of the Austrian training camp: "I rate the first 5 days in Austria well. It is true that the players had a little fatigue, there was a lot of loading. However, everyone is preparing with enthusiasm and responsibility. Although I am not satisfied with the result of today's game, I am satisfied with the progress of our program."
