"Qarabagh" experienced some stress in the first minutes of the match against "Benfica" in the first round of the UEFA Champions League League stage.
"Report" reports that this was stated by the head coach of "Qarabagh" Gurban Gurbanov in his statement to journalists during the welcome at Heydar Aliyev Airport.
The expert also said that the players' self-confidence increased during the game:
"This was the first victory in the main stage of the UEFA Champions League in the club's history. The players gained confidence, maybe we grew a little. When we were 0:2 behind in the score, we came back and won. Football is a game where the terms are almost the same. We had to continue with the same motivation and not back down. I conveyed this to my players. The players' confidence increased during the game. I demanded from the players that there should be fewer ball losses. Unfortunately, we still saw losses.
