"Karabakh"'s opponent in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, which was drawn today, has been determined. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijani champion will meet the winner of the "Shelbourne" – "Linfield" pair. Team's head coach Gurban Gurbanov evaluated the draw:
"We haven't played against such teams for a long time. Although "Linfield" is a familiar opponent to us. We had tense games against them in the past. Overall, it is a stable team. Irish football has also started to develop rapidly. Both teams are perhaps not suitable opponents for us. We will prepare seriously after collecting detailed information as soon as possible. Such teams have a lot of desire, they prefer speed and power football. In any case, there are no weak teams in the Champions League, they are all ambitious. We have about a month. We want to use this time correctly. Our first game will be away and the distance to these countries is very far. But we shouldn't consider these as a problem for ourselves.
