Gurban Gurbanov shared his thoughts before the "Shkëndija" game: We must be careful for 90 minutes

"Qarabagh" will be a guest of "Shkëndija" in North Macedonia tomorrow as part of the first game of the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. Sport24.az reports that the head coach of the Azerbaijani champion, Gurban Gurbanov, answered journalists' questions at the press conference held before the match:

- We are going to a very important game. Having the first match here is an advantage for the opponent. They host us in their home field after two good victories. They defeated a very good team. My team is fully ready today. Tomorrow we must show our character against "Shkëndija" until the end. This will be very important. "Shkëndija" is a very eager and tough team. We will try to play a good game and return from here with a favorable result.

- What can you say about the strengths and weaknesses of "Shkëndija"?

- I watched both of their games with FCSB. There is no need to mention their strengths and weaknesses here. We have to build the game we have in mind. For this, we should not allow the opponent to show their game. We must be careful for 90 minutes against "Shkëndija".

- Your potential opponents in the play-off stage have been determined. What are your thoughts on this?

- Whether we win or lose, our opponent will be one of "Ferencváros" and "Ludogorets". We have played against both of them. They are serious teams. Regardless of whether we play in the Champions League or the Europa League, there will be interesting matches. We are opponents who know each other.
