"The players did not give up fighting until the end."
Idman.biz reports that this was said by Gurban Gurbanov, the head coach of "Qarabag", who is in training camp in Austria.
In his statement to the club's website, he commented on the 4:5 result recorded in today's test match with the Ukrainian club "Metallist": "It was a very good game. Both teams played two squads. Our players are still far from optimal form. The opponent's preparation seemed better. They forced us to play faster. It was a dynamic fight. This was their third game. I saw both good and missing aspects in our team. The good thing was that despite conceding 5 goals, the players did not give up fighting until the end. We will now prepare for the upcoming matches. We have a lack of game construction. We will try to fix it. Overall, I was satisfied with my team."
The head coach also shared his views on the past period of the Austrian training camp: "I appreciate the first 5 days in Austria. True, the players had a little fatigue, there was a lot of loading. Nevertheless, everyone is preparing with enthusiasm and responsibility. Although I am not satisfied with the result of today's game, I am satisfied with the progress of our program."
It should be noted that "Qarabag" will hold its next test match against "Twente" on July 11.
