Idman.Biz reports that head coach Gurban Gurbanov has removed Belgian defender Sami Mmaeni from the main team for violating disciplinary rules.
Sportinfo.az cited the player's behavior in the match against "Newcastle" as the reason for the experienced specialist's decision. When Bahlul Mustafazade was injured in the first half of the match, Gurbanov decided to bring Badavi Huseynov, not Sami, onto the field. Mmaeni's disagreement and protest against this choice led to a harsh reaction from the head coach.
Currently, the legionnaire, who has been removed from the main team, has joined the training sessions of "Qarabag-2". He is expected to appear in the "Zira-2" - "Qarabag-2" match on February 23.
