Marko Jankovic's place in the starting lineup of "Qarabağ" for the match against "Athletic" has not been decided yet.
Idman.Biz reports that the head coach of "Qarabağ", Gurban Gurbanov, announced this before the match against "Athletic Bilbao" in the 3rd round of the Champions League.
"He is training with us, but he is still far from optimal form. We will decide tomorrow whether to give him a place in the starting lineup," Gurbanov noted.
The coach commented on the attention paid to the team not only in Azerbaijan, but also in other Turkic countries.
"We know that our matches are also watched in Turkey. We feel their support and are grateful for it. They appreciate us highly, and this gives us additional motivation," the head coach emphasized.
It should be noted that the "Athletic" - "Qarabağ" match will start on October 22 at 20:45 Baku time.
