Gurban Gurbanov about the "Karvan-Yevlakh" game and his 800th match

- I congratulate my players. They played very disciplined. It is very important to be patient in such games. It is necessary not to break the game discipline. Especially in the cup match. We played with this opponent 4 days ago. They analyzed us very well. We couldn't score until the 80th minute. We had opportunities, but we lacked accuracy. Such games sometimes provide great benefits for football players. The opponent knows you well, does not allow you to play. You are also looking for ways to force the opponent to make a mistake. - Last week you played your 800th game for "Qarabag". What feelings does Gurban Gurbanov experience, and is the 1000th match a matter of principle for you?

- I never calculate myself. I just get even more enthusiastic. If there is such a successful statistic, I should be happy. I guess every football player has a number they dream of. Coaches also have a career they dream of. If I have 200-300 successful games, I would like it to reach 1000. If it is unsuccessful, maybe it will be uninteresting. In any case, we must fulfill our duty. In the coming years, we will try to be more disciplined and responsible.

- When you watch your European Cup matches, it seems that "Qarabag" concedes more goals in the 65-70th minutes. Does the team concede goals because there is a lot of pressure during that period?

- There is no particular reason. It may be that the opponent is attacking more, forcing us to make mistakes. I have always said that we should not lose focus for 90 minutes, our concentration should be in order. I haven't analyzed it in detail.

- Ramin Musayev said in an interview that you left "Neftchi" in 2007 because the budget of "Neftchi" was reduced, but Vlastimil Petrjala stayed in the team for a lower salary. Is that correct information?

- Maybe there was a misunderstanding. There is no need to go back to the past.
