After a 3-0 victory over West Ham, Pep Guardiola did not give several Manchester City players a day off, stating that their performance was not at the desired level.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, Guardiola wants all players to be in top shape before the game against Nottingham Forest on December 27.
Thus, even during Christmas, the Manchester City team will not be able to relax completely, as Pep will personally monitor their weight.
"I will be watching how many kilograms they lose. They can eat, but I will watch the results. If someone comes back with three kilograms of extra weight, they will stay at home and will not go to the game," the coach said.
