It has been announced when Pep Guardiola will decide on his future.
According to Idman.Biz, citing The Telegraph, the head coach of "Manchester City" will make his decision only after this season.
He does not yet know whether he will stay at the club for another year. The Spanish coach's contract runs until the summer of 2027.
"City" is satisfied with the coach's approach and will not put pressure on him. The relationship between the two sides is based on mutual trust.
"City" has compiled a shortlist of candidates to replace Guardiola if he leaves. This includes former Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca, Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso and Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany. The process is headed by the club's sporting director, Hugo Viana.
It is noted that reports that "City" asked Guardiola if he would stay next season are false.
"Manchester City" is second in the Premier League table with 61 points after 30 games, nine points behind leaders Arsenal with one game less. Guardiola has been in charge of the team since 2016.
