Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has spoken about the situation in Gaza. Sport24.az reports that the specialist spoke about this during his speech at the University of Manchester. Guardiola said that the situation in the war-torn city disappoints him:
What we see in Gaza is very painful. I feel this pain all over my body. Frankly, this is not about ideology. I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong. It's simply about the love of life, caring for other people.
When we see 4-year-old boys and girls being bombed and killed, we might think this is not our business. Okay. But be careful. The next child could be our child.
Since this nightmare started in Gaza, I feel fear every morning when I see my children Maria, Marius and Valentina.
