Manchester City football team's head coach, Josep Guardiola, has written his name in gold letters in the history of English football.
Idman.Biz reports that the Spanish specialist is the first coach to win the League Cup for the fifth time. This historic achievement was realized thanks to a 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the final match held at Wembley Stadium in London.
Guardiola had previously lifted this cup in the 2017/2018, 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons. With this victory, he surpassed legendary coaches such as Brian Clough, Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho, who have four titles in their record, becoming the sole leader.
