Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has spoken about the Premier League title race and the tense match against Arsenal. According to Sport24.az, the Spanish specialist acknowledged the strength of the opponent and expressed satisfaction with the level of the game:

"This match was a great advertisement for the Premier League. The opponent did not allow us to build the game, they were very aggressive. They are strong enough in duels. We played with one of the most competitive teams I have ever faced in my career. They are very effective, especially in one-on-one episodes and long passes."

Guardiola specifically noted the game of opponent midfielder Declan Rice, analyzing the course of the match:

"Rice was amazing at winning second balls. They did not allow us to build the game from the back. There were moments on the field when both teams were superior and goal chances were created. In the end, small details decided everything. There were two very strong coaches and high-level football players on the field. But now the games are held every three days and this requires a lot of strength."

The experienced specialist assessed the situation in the tournament table, emphasizing the importance of not losing focus:

"The reality is that Arsenal is at the top and is currently ahead of us in goal difference. We must appreciate the positive aspects, but we must not lose focus. In just three days, the next test awaits us with Burnley."
