Atletico Madrid player Antoine Griezmann commented on their advancement to the Champions League semi-finals. Sport24.az reports that the French midfielder said the following after the 1/4 final match against Barcelona:
"I am very happy. In such matches, every mistake is costly. The opponent's second goal was due to my mistake. Nevertheless, we were able to achieve the result we wanted. The support of our fans is undeniable. Thanks to them, we recovered and reached the semi-finals by minimizing the difference."
Atletico advanced to the semi-finals based on the results of two matches (2:0, 1:2). The Madrid team's opponent on the road to the final will be PSG.
