Italian Football Federation President Gabriele Gravina has rejected Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu's appeal against his suspension.
Idman.Biz reports this with reference to Sky Sport Italia.
According to the publication, the Turin club filed an appeal with the federation court and, after receiving a rejection, appealed directly to Gravina, but again received a rejection. The French footballer will miss the match against Lecce.
Kalulu received a second yellow card in the 25th round of Serie A for a rough foul against Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni. The match ended with a 3-2 victory for the "Nerazzurri". Later, the chairman of the Serie A referees, Gianluca Rocchi, admitted that the decision to send off the Juventus defender was wrong.
