Bayer midfielder Granit Xhaka will return to England. Sport24.az reports that Sunderland has resolved the transfer of the Swiss footballer.

The club, which was promoted to the Premier League, will pay 20 million euros in compensation for Xhaka. The 32-year-old defensive midfielder has signed a 2-year contract with Sunderland.
It should be noted that Bayer transferred Granit Xhaka from Arsenal in the summer of 2023. The Swiss national team member scored 2 goals and 7 assists in 49 official matches for Leverkusen last season.
