Bayer 04 midfielder Granit Xhaka has started negotiations with English side Sunderland.
"Report" reports, citing Sky Sports, that the 32-year-old Swiss footballer has been offered a 3-year contract.
Although his contract has 3 years left to run, he could leave the team in the summer. It was previously reported that Milan (Italy) and Saudi Arabian clubs were interested in him.
It should be noted that G. Xhaka has been wearing the Bundesliga club's jersey since 2023.
