Former Chelsea head coach Graham Potter has stated his readiness to manage the Swedish national team, which failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
Idman.Biz reports that the Swedish Football Association dismissed national team head coach Jon Dahl Tomasson yesterday. The reason is the team's poor performance in the qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup.
"If I can help, I'm open to all options. Working as the head coach of the Swedish national team would be fantastic. I love Sweden. I love this country and its football. I owe Swedish football a lot. For me, this would be a fantastic choice," Potter said in an interview with Fotbollskanalen.
Graham Potter was the head coach of Östersund from 2011 to 2018 and won the Swedish Cup.
