Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner reacted to the tension with the fans after the 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton. Sport24.az reports that the Austrian specialist denied disrespecting the fans.
Before the match held at Selhurst Park, a banner with the content "Fans were disrespected - Glasner is finished" was displayed in the stands. This step was taken after Glasner previously called on fans to "be humble" after the UEFA Conference League game against Zrinjski Mostar.
At the post-match press conference, Glasner stated that his words were misunderstood and that his intention was not to offend anyone. The specialist also emphasized that the club management and players trust him, and that he plans to continue his activity as the head coach of Crystal Palace until the end of his current contract.
