Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner commented on his team's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham in the 18th round of the English Premier League.
According to Idman.Biz, the head coach admitted that his team lacks the skill to finish attacks.
"This is one of those games where it's frustrating that both teams lost. We created enough goal chances, but we wasted them and were punished by conceding a goal from a corner kick. This clearly showed where we need to improve. Today we saw that others have watched Crystal Palace longer than I have. They watched and saw how our team managed the game against Tottenham. I don't remember the last time this was done so clearly. This frustrates our players.
I don't blame anyone for the missed chances, but we have to accept the fact that we currently lack the skill to finish attacks. But our style of play, the structure of our game, the dangerous moments, our attacking developments all paid off. Now it is important to support the players, restore their self-confidence, because they can score more goals," Glasner's thoughts were published on the official website of Crystal Palace.
