It is very important for the "Sabah" Football Academy to become one of the leading centers in the region and to train high-level players for the main team and the international football market.
Giorgi Minashvili, who was appointed coordinator to the academy of the Baku representative, told "Report" about this.
The Georgian expert said that joining this club is a great honor for him:
"The professional experience I have gained so far working in different countries - both in academies and with professional teams - allows me to say that together we can build a successful system here. I believe that Sabah's project is very ambitious, and this appointment is a great responsibility for me in terms of fully serving the club's vision and goals. From the first day, I felt the serious approach of the club and the strong commitment of its employees, which makes me very optimistic about the future".
He talked about the upcoming goals:
"My main goal is to create an environment where young football players can develop both professionally and personally. We want to form a structure that will not only improve technical and tactical skills, but also form the right sports culture among players. It is very important for the "Sabah" academy to become one of the leading centers in the region and to train high-level players for the main team and the international football market. In addition, I plan to pay special attention to the education of coaches and the application of modern training methods. Our common goal is for the "Sabah" academy to become synonymous with quality and development, and for our young talents to grow up as worthy members of the club and the national team in the future."
It should be noted that "Sabah" has signed a "1+2" year contract with the 43-year-old specialist. The previous coordinator of the academy, Adino Mustedanagic, is currently the head coach of the club's reserve and U-19 team.
