FIFA President Gianni Infantino has announced his favorite for the 2026 World Cup to be held this summer. Sport24.az reports that the head of the supreme football body made a statement to the "AS" publication. Infantino noted that Spain is one of the main contenders for victory.
"Of course, Spain, along with others, is one of the favorites. We already know Spain's strengths. The team that ranks first should also be the favorite of the World Cup."
It should be noted that the Spanish national team is in Group H. Along with it, Cabo Verde, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay are also in this group.
