Roma's head coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, has become the third coach to reach 1000 points in Serie A.
İdman.Biz reports that in the 19th round of the Italian championship, Roma defeated Lecce 2-0.
According to Opta Sport, in the era of three points for a win (since the 1994/95 season), before Gasperini only Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti and Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri had reached 1000 points.
Gasperini has been in charge of Roma since the summer of 2025. The team is in fourth place in the standings with 36 points from 19 matches.
