German national team player could transfer to a Turkish club

Former German national team member Timo Werner could move to Turkey. Sport24.az reports that the 29-year-old forward is close to joining Başakşehir.

 

The striker, who spent the past season on loan at Tottenham, has returned to Leipzig.

 

His chances of starting the 2025/2026 season with Başakşehir are high. The German international's contract with Leipzig runs until June 30, 2026.
